‘My walk by the river landscape’ print is complete and Newly framed! This print is part of an ongoing series of drawings and prints of the Thames Southbank where the iconic and lesser known architecture of London’s riverside sit one one continuous line. Video’s of the print process coming soon !
News from the print table: close up detail of the trees and the National theatre, block colour still to be printed. I’m really enjoying watching all the colours build up. This illustration of the National Theatre makes up an exclusive element of my meter long Screenprint which brings together a the “walk by the river” series of prints i’ve been working on featuring architecture on the Southbank of the Thames.

Added the next colour to “A Walk by the River” 10 colour print !
I was really keen to get a nice flow of colours throughout the print, I did some print tests with the additional drawings of the Tate and National theatre and laid them alongside the prints I have already made for this series. I think I have settled on the colours for this next stage..
latest from the print table: The red brick of the oxo tower is revealed once the black lines have been printed: layer one and two of my walk by the river print. this id the centre point of the metre wide print.
The reason why i have gone a bit quiet on the blog lately is because I have been working on a rather long and many layered print completing a large section of the “Walk by the River” print. it will be a epic 10 layered print almost a metre wide, I will be posting images of the print as it develops
